The WTR course covers three endorsements for operators of specialised machinery in Rotorua, Paeroa, and throughout the Waikato — wheeled vehicles, self-laying tracked machines, and roller-type vehicles like road rollers.

Endorsements
The W endorsement is for vehicles that run on wheels that aren't forklifts, passenger vehicles, trucks etc. — such as specialised wheeled industrial machinery.
The T endorsement is for vehicles that run on self-laying tracks — such as excavators and tracked machinery used in construction and earthworks.
The R endorsement is for vehicles that run on rollers, like road rollers — essential for roading and civil construction operators.
