About the course
A Class 2 licence authorises you to drive medium rigid vehicles with a gross vehicle mass (GVM) up to 18,000 kg. This includes most rigid-bodied trucks used for deliveries, construction, and general freight work across New Zealand.

Before you book
You must hold a full New Zealand Class 1 (car) licence and have held it for at least 6 months prior to starting the course.
You must present a valid DL9 medical certificate that is less than 60 days old at the time of your course. Your GP can issue this for you.
