Course details
Best for: Newer riders, urban riders and commuters wanting to build their confidence and core road-riding skills.
Your course starts with a rider briefing and motorcycle safety check. You'll then head out on an urban ride through varying traffic environments, stopping at appropriate points for coaching, assessment and individual feedback.
Best for: Learner riders, riders holding a Class 6 Restricted licence, and riders using LAMS-approved motorcycles who want to build stronger road-riding skills.
Following a comprehensive briefing and safety check, you'll ride through a mixture of urban and rural environments, including higher-speed roads. Practical skill development may also take place off-highway. Throughout the day your Revs instructor will provide coaching, assessment and feedback, with several stops along the route and a lunch break.
Best for: Restricted licence riders preparing to progress towards their Full licence, returning riders, or experienced riders wanting a comprehensive skills refresher.
After your briefing and motorcycle safety check, you'll ride through a range of urban, rural and higher-speed environments. The riding becomes progressively more challenging as your instructor works with you on observation, positioning, cornering, hazard management and motorcycle control. There will be several coaching and assessment stops throughout the day, including a lunch break.
Best for: Experienced riders wanting to refine specific technical riding skills and take their riding to an advanced level. Unlike the other levels, Gold can be tailored around the needs of the riders attending.
Following the initial briefing and motorcycle safety check, your instructor will select roads and riding environments appropriate to the skills being developed. The course is delivered through a series of riding and coaching modules, with regular stops for assessment, discussion and feedback. A lunch break is included during the day.
